MISSION AND HISTORY

About Pretty Blessed Girls Mentoring Program

Pretty Blessed Girls Mentoring Program is a beacon of empowerment, located in Fort Worth, Texas, and established on May 28, 2013. As a vital component of Heavenly Touched CC, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. As of August 1, 2019, Pretty Blessed Girls was excluded as a program of Heavenly Touched Community Center. It is now a stand-alone nonprofit, 501(c) 3, charitable organizatioN.  Pretty Blessed Girls Mentoring Program has consistently stood at the forefront of fostering positive change within the lives of young girls.

Our mission is clear: to enhance social, emotional, growth, and academic success in the lives of girls all over the world.

Pretty Blessed Girls vision is to be a stellar organization that builds young ladies character, confidence, leadership in their communities, and strive towards academic excellence.

Our engagement with our PBGs (Pretty Blessed Girls) takes place every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 12 pm to 4 pm. These structured sessions are thoughtfully designed to encompass a wide array of experiences, including "Keeping It Real Girl Talk," "PBG Activity," and "PBG Live."

  • Keeping It Real Girl Talk: This segment of our program is dedicated to nurturing life skills, personal development, and open discussions. Each month, we delve into a different topic, encouraging our girls to explore and grow.

  • PBG Activities: Creativity thrives in our PBG Activity sessions, where the girls engage in arts and crafts, STEM, entrepreneurship, culinary experiences, sewing, knitting, and engaging games. These activities provide a space for self-expression and skill development.

  • PBG Live: At PBG Nation, our girls discover the joy of dance, including Christian hip-hop, mime, praise dance, and step. We also delve into theatre arts and public speaking, empowering our girls to find their voices and express themselves confidently.

Beyond our regular meetings, our PBGs are deeply committed to serving their community with unwavering dedication and enthusiasm. Their involvement in community service is a testament to their character and values, as they serve with smiles and love in their hearts. It's remarkable that we've never heard our girls complain about serving the community; instead, they eagerly ask, "When is our next Community Involvement Project?" Each project provides invaluable life lessons and reinforces the belief that  "They can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens them" (Philippians 4:13).

Pretty Blessed Girls Mentoring Program is not just an organization; it's a movement dedicated to instilling confidence, compassion, and resilience in young girls, one meeting, one project, and one smile at a time. Join us in our journey to empower the next generation of strong, blessed, and beautiful young women. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of girls everywhere.
